The Wicked Edge Advanced Alignment Guide provides measurable reference points for repeatable knife mounting when the knife has to be tipped in order to find the sweet spot (tip up or down). In those cases the grid allows the recording of both the distance of the tip from the vise as well as its height so it can be mounted in the same spot for touchup sharpening sessions. This product is compatible with all Wicked Edge models and is mounted against the vise with the depth key.  Depending on the actual knife mounting position this will work for knives up to about 8 or slightly more inches long.
