Bought these for a TSPROF...
I bought these for a new TSPROF sharpener. The Boride stones that came with the sharpener were OK, but I knew I wanted a little more. I read all over until deciding on the Naniwa Chosera stones even though I have never used them before. I am not disappointed. Yes, the price seems pretty steep. But as with most things in life you get what you pay for. I need to add that this is my first experience with this type of sharpener, these types of stones, or any kind of sharpening beyond an old stone handed down by my Grandad. But having said all that I am pretty sure these are the cream of the crop. And as far as dealing with Bob you cant ask for a better experience.

I read about Shapton Glass Stones and wanted to try them for my Tsprof sharpener. I contacted Oldawan for information on these stones. When I went to order, their website said they were not available. Working with Bob, he was able to find and secure a number of these stones and was able to purchase what I wanted. Again, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
