This set includes 2 each of 800 grit and 1000 grit diamond stones mounted on handles. These stones are a perfect next step after the 600 grit stones included with the Wicked Edge Sharpener Basic Kit to continue honing, finishing and maintaining your blade. If you are intending to refine your edge with diamond stones, we consider these to be a necessary step following the basic sharpener. We use these stones on every knife we work on at shows.
